The city of Tabor in South Bohemia

Jan Zizka monument at the main square called "Zizkovo Namesti" with "The Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord" in the back located at the South Bohemian city of Tabor. Jan Zizka z Trocnova a Kalicha (English: John Zizka of Trocnov and the Chalice) (c. 1360–1424), was a Czech general and Hussite leader, follower of Jan Hus, and born in the small village of Trocnov (now part of Borovany) in Bohemia, into a gentried family. He was nicknamed "One-eyed Žižka."
