Images from Charles Bridge before and during the reconstruction. On a Monday 9th of July 1357 more then 650 years ago was laying of the foundation stone for the Prague Charles Bridge. The Charles Bridge is one of the oldest and certainly one of the most beautiful stonebridges in Europe, this ancient artery across the Vltava river links Prague's Lesser Town with the Old Town on the right bank and was vital to the development of the Czech capital.
