The Honecker Bunker in Wandlitz close to Berlin

The dispatcher room. The dispatcher, or bunker controller, was located at the central point in the bunker, from where almost all the technical processes could be monitored and controlled. The workplaces here were manned 7/24 from the time the bunker was completed until it was finally taken out of service so that the bunker was operationally ready at all times.
